Sustained representation on redesignation, grade-pay correction and promotion anomalies led to a departmental committee being constituted for the instructor cadre's career progression.
Recommendation for Training Officer designation and Level 7
The committee recommended redesignating the instructor cadre as Training Officer, on pay Level 7.
Recommendation to promote Group Instructors to Vice Principal
The committee recommended promotion of Group Instructors to Vice Principal on the basis of seniority.
Probation period reduced from two years to one
The two-year probation period was reduced to one year through a court case.
Redesignation decided at department level
The department decided to redesignate Instructor as Training Officer and Group Instructor as Senior Training Officer.
